Engineering Open House, March 1-2
The second annual Engineering Open House starts on Friday, March 1, with Field Trip Day from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and continues on Saturday, March 2 with Family Day from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Take a sneak peek at the Visitor’s Guide (PDF) for a preview of the fun! There are more events happening this weekend around campus including ASU Cares, Night of the Open Door, Emerge and the VEX Robotics Tournament.

As part of the Engineering Open House, Fulton Engineering is hosting the VEX Robotics Tournament. Teams of middle school, high school and college students will compete in different divisions for chances to advance to national and world championship VEX Robotics tournaments. Spectators are welcome on Saturday, March 2, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Memorial Union, Arizona Ballroom. Learn more

ASU Cares is an annual volunteer community service project, organized by the ASU Alumni Association, to harvest campus-grown oranges. Last year, ASU Cares harvested over 5,000 pounds of oranges that benefited Sun Devil Dining and Arcadia Farms. This activity furthers ASU’s commitment to sustainability and provides important resources back to ASU. Alumni, students, faculty and staff, families and children are all welcome. Night of the Open Door, a signature event of Arizona SciTech Fest, offers a window into the creative energy that powers a world-class university, with more than 100 interactive activities hosted by ASU student volunteers, faculty and staff. Emerge unites artists, engineers, scientists, storytellers and designers to build, draw, write and rethink the future of the human species and the environments that we share. This year, Emerge tackles The Future of Truth and explores the conflicting stories we tell about reality, justice, reason, facts and values.
