Barry L. Bruner
Two Arizona State University engineering alumni are among five current or former members of the U.S. military who will be honored at ASU’s Founders’ Day awards event Feb. 21.
Navy Rear Admiral Barry L. Bruner and Air Force Brigadier General Mark C. “Marshall” Dillon will receive Alumni Achievement Awards recognizing those who have excelled in their profession and made contributions to ASU and/or the ASU Alumni Association and the community.
Bruner graduated in 1980 with a degree in civil engineering. He later earned a master’s degree in oceanography and meteorology from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Mark C. Dillon
Dillon graduated with a degree in aerospace engineering in 1984. He later earned a master’s degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master’s in national strategic studies from the Air War College.
Bruner and Dillon will accept Alumni Achievement Awards on behalf of all ASU alumni serving in the Navy and Air Force.
