Veteran's Journey

The Veteran’s Journey: A transition through the university environment

Their transitions to ASU are unique. Our active military and veteran students face unique adjustment issues, different than those of the general student population, as they transition from a structured military lifestyle to the university environment.

Faculty and staff interested in gaining a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the military student are invited to a free workshop to learn more about the veteran student experience.

Adam McCray is a U.S. Air Force veteran and the former chief of the mental health clinic at Luke Air Force Base. He is the team leader of the West Valley Veterans Center.
