The Graduate College has recently been notified that the Arizona Board of Regents has provided one-time Technology Research Initiative Fund (TRIF) funds to support competitive doctoral dissertation research improvement grants. The funds are intended to support research and not stipends or salary. Approximately 18 awards will be made at $5,000 each.
Graduate chairs and directors are being asked to gather doctoral student proposals and nominate candidates to the Graduate College for review. Nomination deadline is October 12, 2012.
