The Engineers Club of the West Valley is seeking engineers to speak at its monthly luncheon meetings in the fall and spring, beginning in October.
The club has about 150 members, and typically draws an audience of 100 to 120 people to its monthly luncheon and presentation gatherings.
Meetings are on the first Friday of each month, October through June, at 11:30 a.m. at Briarwood Country Club, 20800 North 135th Avenue, just north of West Meeker Boulevard, in Sun City West.
Members are interested in news, trends, research progress and the outlook for future advances in all branches of engineering.
Many ASU faculty members – particularly Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering faculty – have been guest speakers at Engineers Club of the West Valley meetings over the years, including Joe Palais, Paul Johnson, David Ferry, Vincent Pizziconi, Jan Snyder, Eric Gilbeau, John Black, Stephen Helms Tillery, George Karady and Jeffrey La Belle.
