Traffic noise pollution: The consequences of chronic exposure

Krisha Biligiri, an assistant research scientist in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, will be a featured speaker at the next Science Café at the Arizona Science Center, at 7 p.m. May 18.

He’ll help lead a discussion about the behavioral, environmental and health impacts of noise pollution caused by urban traffic. Admission is free.

The Arizona Science Center is at Washington and 7th streets in downtown Phoenix. There’s a light-rail stop at Washington and 5th Street.
