Fowler Elementary School is seeking faculty and graduate students who would be interested in speaking to students (K-5) about opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math at the school’s career day on Friday, May 18. The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon. Scheduling is flexible. Each group presentation will last approximately 25 minutes and presenters are welcome to speak to more than one group.

The school would like presentations to include how you use reading, writing and math in your everyday work, years of school that you attended beyond high school, your favorite school and why, positive experiences from school or with teachers, and how we believe in each child’s potential. Props, tools, posters or any other visual aids to help students gain an understanding of your field are encouraged.

If you are interested, please contact Evelyn Garcia, principal of Fowler Elementary School at egarcia@fesd.org or 623-707-2500.
