The Fulton Schools of Engineering has a new safety director. Jonathan Klane comes to ASU from Maine and began his duties April 16. He will be advancing the position previously held by John Crozier and looks forward to working with everyone to protect our students, faculty and staff. His office is at Goldwater (GWC) 182.
Jonathan has worked in higher education for many years and has also provided consulting services to a wide array of clients with different needs (including projects for 10 colleges and universities in Maine). These projects include monitoring, hazard evaluations, hazard controls and other EHS services. He has worked in-house for corporate clients as interim corporate health and safety manager. He has provided contracted services including training and communication, monitoring and inspections, assessment and development of controls, IH sampling, audits, program development, and as a professional resource in many areas including regulatory matters.
