Amy Sever will join the Academic and Student Affairs team as the associate director of Undergraduate Student Engagement on April 23. Her new office is in Engineering Center G-Wing (ECG) 104.
Amy will oversee the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI), Engineering Study Abroad, Engineering student organizations, Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) and the Grand Challenge Scholars. Amy will also serve as a liaison to Barrett, the Honors College for our students.
Amy has worked in higher education for 12 years. She joined ASU’s Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering in 2005. As an assistant director for the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering, she managed the Advising Center and was responsible for student recruitment and retention programs. In her most recent position as manager of Professional and Executive Programs in the office of Global Outreach and Extended Education, Amy managed non-credit professional development training programs through partnerships with industry, government and academia.
