Roop Mahajan, the Lewis E. Hester Chair Professor of Engineering and director of the Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, will address the nature and complexity of interdisciplinary collaborations and the creative tensions and transformations involved in the integration of different disciplinary cultures.
