Want to compete with the University of Arizona, support ASU and help a worthy cause? Then help fill the FLASH! Join ASU4Food on Thursday, March 29, as they fight hunger–and challenge those pesky Wildcats–in ASU4Food’s annual “Fill the FLASH” food drive.
Parking and Transit Services is also partnering with the student-run ASU4Food organization to give students, faculty and staff more opportunities to give on this day.
- A FLASH bus will be at the Tempe campus parked on Orange Mall, east of the Memorial Union, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- Zipcars will also be located on the Tempe campus in Lot 59 and the University Services Building (Lot 45) between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- In addition, food drop boxes will be located in the Polytechnic and West campus PTS offices between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
All five donation drop-off points can accept either non-perishable food, cash or check donations. Make checks payable to ASU4Food.
ASU4Food is an ASU student-run organization whose main goal is to raise both awareness and donations for the growing hunger problem in the state of Arizona. To achieve this goal, ASU4Food hosts, as well as partners with other organizations, to hold many events throughout the academic year. Everything collected by ASU4Food is donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance and United Food Bank and is counted towards the Territorial Food Fight, a competition between Arizona State University and the University of Arizona that is sponsored by State Farm.
