Allan Chasey, an associate professor in the Del E. Webb School of Construction, will assume the Programs Chair for the Del E. Webb School of Construction on May 16. Chasey has an exciting vision to integrate sustainable construction and building information modeling concepts into a revised undergraduate curriculum. This curriculum will help lead the undergraduate program into the future of construction. Chasey’s passion for technology will help bring the graduate program to a larger community.

Chasey recently founded a virtual construction lab, nicknamed DECIMaL (Design, Engineer, Construct Integrated Management Lab) through a $100,000 investment. He has also attracted a number of large grants to the Del E. Webb School of Construction programs over the past few years.

Chasey has impressive credentials as a licensed engineer; he was the first LEED AP faculty member in DEWSC and is also an OSHA Construction Outreach Instructor. He has helped manage the CREATE consortium for the last several years, and his involvement in GOEE and industry outreach, administrative experience at ASU, and service to the community all underscore his servant leadership approach with students, colleagues and industry.

Join us in congratulating Allan Chasey on being named Programs Chair for the Del E. Webb School of Construction.
