Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering students are members of six of the nine ASU student teams to earn grants through the 2012 ASU Innovation Challenge. The annual competition awards seed funding to student entrepreneurial ventures aimed at solving societal problems.
Four of the winning teams consist of students from the Fulton Engineering’s program Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS). Teams of EPICS students have won 13 Innovation Challenge awards in recent years, the most earned by students from any course or program at ASU, according to EPICS director Richard Filley.
