Arizona State saw the largest average attendance increase in college football for the 2011 season, reports the Arizona Republic.

The Sun Devils averaged 59,007 fans per game, 11,064 more fans per game than in 2010. High preseason expectations and a home schedule that included Missouri, USC and Arizona were positive factors, according to figures compiled by Street and Smith’s Sports Business Journal.
