It’s time for students to fill out the FAFSA, or Free Application for Federal Student Aid

The FAFSA can be filed beginning January 1 of each year. Students should submit the FAFSA before ASU’s priority filing date of March 1 each year to maximize the amount of aid they receive. Eligible students who apply by this date have a greater chance of receiving need-based aid. Students who are eligible for needs-based scholarships should submit a FAFSA by February 1 to meet the scholarships deadline.
The FAFSA is a free application.
Reminders:
- Students must file a FAFSA every year to be eligible for need-based scholarships. (Remember that Fulton’s scholarship deadline is Feb. 1)
- ASU’s priority deadline for FAFSA filing is March 1.
