The ASU Commission on the Status of Women, in conjunction with the ASU Staff Council, hosted the fourth annual CSW/SC Professional Development Conference on October 20. Nearly 1,000 ASU faculty, staff and students participated in the conference, attending exciting workshop sessions, networking receptions and resource fairs.

As a follow-up to the conference, the CSW is pleased to announced the availability of the online Professional Development Conference Resource Center. On this site, you will find PowerPoint presentations, handouts and resources from many of this year’s workshop sessions. You can also view the full video from one of the most popular workshop sessions, “Negotiations: Women Don’t Ask But They Should,” led by Janet Alberts, President’s Professor from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication.

The CSW Office has already begun planning for next year’s conference. Please take a moment to fill out a quick interest survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/SPMKD5M and indicate which workshop sessions would be most helpful to you. The survey takes less than a minute.

If you have any questions, please contact the CSW Office, asucsw@asu.edu, or Karen Engler, CSW Coordinator Sr., Karen.Engler@asu.edu.
