How are women and girls reshaping the future? Join us for the Second Annual TEDWomen conference streamed live from New York City and find out.
This sold out event has been made available to TEDxBarrettHonorsCollege for viewing by members of the honors community. Drop in for a talk or two, or stay for the duration of the conference—if you’ve never experienced a TED event before, expect a fast-paced, highly curated, two-day stage program featuring TED’s famous 18-minute talks, plus music, comedy, dance, short talks, video interludes and other surprises.
The cross-disciplinary, cross-generational program will focus on how women think and work, communicate and collaborate, learn and lead—what this means and why it matters to all of us. Speakers from around the globe—both men and women, from anthropologists to artists, scientists to soldiers, farmers to futurists—will share their ideas in the classic TED format, creating a program that surprises and inspires.
Both men and women are invited to explore the idea that women are powerful change agents, intellectual innovators and idea champions in our society.
