Two upcoming events at the Arizona Science Center highlight researchers at Arizona State University contributing to the battle against Valley Fever.

New Frontiers in Medical Science at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 will feature Douglas Lake, associate professor in the School of Life Sciences at ASU presenting the talk “Dangerous Dirt.”

BioBuzz at 1:45 p.m. Nov. 19 will feature Krupa Navalkar, a biological design graduate research associate with the ASU’s Center for Innovations in Medicine. She will give the presentation “Valley Fever Fungus Among Us: Detecting Disease Earlier & More Accurately.”

The Arizona Science Center is at 600 W. Washington Street in downtown Phoenix.
