Hopefully all of you are familiar with our extremely successful undergraduate research program FURI where BOTH students and faculty mentors receive stipends: engineering.asu.edu/furi.
The next round of research applications are due mid-October. I encourage you to communicate to your undergraduate students that you are receptive to working with them. If you are not teaching an undergraduate class you can ask a colleague to share your message in an appropriate class. You can even advertise research opportunities by emailing the information to furi@asu.edu.
I hope to see many new mentors in the program this year.
