Ed Hall will once again be stepping in to fill the role of associate dean for research (ADR) until we conclude our search for a new ADR. Ed is familiar with this role as he held the ADR position from 2004-2008.
Ed’s long history of successful university-industry alliances and management of research infrastructure will ensure that we continue to grow the intensity and impact of our research activities. He has been an irreplaceable member of our leadership team for many years and as executive associate dean for research he has led infrastructure planning and management, promoted and supported research clusters, and has been engaged in faculty hiring and strategic planning.
Please join me in thanking Ed for taking on this interim position. He is hoping for a speedy and successful search for our new ADR. :)
