Antonio Garcia and Kenneth Roland will lead a discussion entitled “Vaccines: Can They Give Us a Disease-Free World?” for a Science Café on September 16 at the Arizona Science Center. Admission is free.

Garcia is a professor in the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering, and Roland is an assistant research professor in ASU’s Biodesign Institute.

Science Cafés offer informal discussion about science, engineering and technology. Audience members are given the opportunity to comment and ask questions.
