On March 30-31, 2012, the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering will host the first Engineering Open House featuring student projects, faculty research and corporate showcases as well as grade school and high school design competitions.

Led by the Engineering Student Council, the goal of the event is to showcase the role that engineering plays in everyday life and show the difference that technology makes to our future.

The open house is modeled after the highly successful event at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Held annually each year since 1952, the Engineering Open House attracts thousands of people to campus to see first-hand engineering projects, research and discoveries from all engineering disciplines.
