Three Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering faculty members recently became U.S. citizens.

They are:

  • Soyoung Ahn, an assistant professor in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment. Ahn is a native of South Korea. She joined Arizona State University in 2006. Read more about Ahn at http://engineering.asu.edu/people/969620
  • Marco Santello, professor and interim director in the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering. Santello is a native of Italy. He came to ASU in 1999. Read more about Santello at http://engineering.asu.edu/people/230175
  • Claudia Zapata, an assistant professor in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment. Zapata is a native of Colombia. She earned a Ph.D. in geo-environmental engineering from ASU in 1999 and joined the faculty in 2006. Read more about Zapata at http://engineering.asu.edu/people/27053
