Are you a SciFinder user? SciFinder is the database for finding journal literature for chemistry and its application to other areas of science and engineering; this database also includes information about chemical reactions, property data and suppliers.
As of Friday, July 1, Chemical Abstract Service is no longer supporting the _Scholar_ version of SciFinder; therefore, you will no longer be able to access the SciFinder database going via this route. If you have been using the Scholar version of SciFinder (the software with the gray-colored screens that you had to load on your own computer) please be sure to uninstall the Scholar software from all computers (office, labs, laptops, etc.).
From this point on, SciFinder will only be available via the _web_ version which is accessible at http://library.lib.asu.edu/record=e1000787~S3 Access requires registration which you may also do from this page. If you have not already switched over to SciFinder Web, you’ll find that the web version contains the same content as the scholar version but includes many new features including the ability to set up alerts (“Keep Me Posted”). More information about SciFinder Web is available at http://libguides.asu.edu/content.php?pid=3454&sid=115949
