Saguaro software development summer workshops will be presented in Computing Commons Auditorium, CPCOM120, on July 14 and 15. This short morning series is aimed at current software developers on the system and anyone interested in a detailed overview of the system hardware, tools and utilities.

Thursday, July 14

  • 10 a.m.: Saguaro user environment—PBS scripting, new hardware overview and scheduling tips.
  • 11 a.m.: Compiling, profiling, debugging, tuning and accelerating C and Fortran programs on Saguaro.

Friday, July 15

  • 10 a.m.: Advanced scripting and helpful Unix tips on Saguaro.
  • 11 a.m.: Numerical libraries overview and parallelization strategies.
