Interim director for School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering
I am very pleased to announce that Prof. Marco Santello has agreed to serve as the interim director of the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering effective June 24, 2011.
Marco’s commitment to students and his strong desire to ensure a smooth transition and quality mentoring for our new SBHSE faculty make him well-suited to lead the school while the search for a new school director is under way.
Please join me in thanking Marco for taking on this challenging position, and in offering to help him work to advance SBHSE.
Volunteer for E2 Camp
I encourage faculty and staff to volunteer for one of the six E2 camps being held this summer in Prescott this summer. There are both on-campus and on-site volunteer opportunities. Learn more and sign up online at http://engineering.asu.edu/camp/volunteerreg.
For many of our incoming students, this is the first opportunity to interact with faculty. I hope many faculty will attend a camp and get to know their new students.
