Robotics Camp:
Ages: middle school and high school students
About: provides component-based robot construction, robotics programming, Web programming, and Alice game programming as a vehicle to teach the latest engineering design concepts and computing technologies. The robots built by students will enter a robotics competition and demonstration at the end of the camp.
Dates: June 6-June 17 or June 20-July 1

The BEST Summer Program:
Ages: students entering grades 6-9 in fall 2011
About: a one-week program for students that includes introductory-level LEGO MINDSTORMS robotics activities, aerospace, civil, mechanical and materials science activities designed by ASU faculty, and tours of ASU facilities and labs.
Application deadline: April 29
Dates: June 20-June 24 or July 11-July 15 (grades 6-7); June 27-July 1 or July 18-22 (grades 8-9)

National Summer Transportation Institute
Ages: next-year high school sophomore, junior or senior
About: a three-week residential program that introduces high school students to campus, engineering and transportation systems.
Dates: May 31-June 17

Summer Engineering Experience: SEE@ASU
Ages: students entering senior year of high school in fall 2011
About: a one-week residential program that provides immersion into engineering and the university experience.
Application deadline May 1
Dates: July 10-July 16 or July 17-July 23

Honors Summer Institute
Ages: incoming engineering honors freshmen
About: a two-week commuter program designed to acclimate students to the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering and Barrett, the Honors College.
Dates: July 11-July 22
