The ASU chapter of Engineers Without Borders is sponsoring a 5K fun-run/walk on April 2 to raise money for its new water supply project for three villages in Kenya. The cost is $15 for ASU students and $25 for non-students. All participants receive a T-shirt and snacks.
April 2, Student Recreation Center
Registration starts at 8 a.m.
Run/walk starts at 9:00 a.m.
Your registration fee will provide opportunities for our students to participate in this project and make a real difference in their lives and the lives of the people in the Saradidi, Miranda and Nyakasumbi villages in Kenya. Goals for the program include helping to create a stable water source for the community by installing rainwater catchment systems, work on a gray water sanitation project and improvements to the community’s existing dam.
