Nathan Newman

The work of ASU’s new  Southwest Regional Center for Aberration Corrected Electron Microscopy and LeRoy Eyring Center for Solid State Science will be a topic of discussion on the Jan. 19 broadcast of “Horizon,” the news and public affairs program on Channel 8-KAET.

The director of the Eyring Center, Nathan Newman, professor of materials science and engineering in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy, will be interviewed on the show, which airs at 7 p.m.

Newman will talk about ASU’s leadership in microscopy and how that benefits industry in Arizona and elsewhere.
