Mary Niemczyk, director of the aviation and air transportation management programs at the College of Technology and Innovation at Arizona State University, was one of three aviation leaders selected for a recent panel discussing trends in the commercial aviation industry.

The panel was featured at the Phoenix Sister Cities’ 15th Annual Global Links Business Outlook luncheon, held on June 19 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

“As a growing region with new airline routes developing and a bustling aerospace industry, the Valley is a leader in the aviation sector,” a press release about the event stated.

Other panelists were Orin Anderson, director of business development for Pinnacle Aviation, and Deborah Ostreicher, deputy aviation director for the Phoenix Aviation Department, which owns and operates Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
